The GRI/Waterloo Certificate in Quantitative Financial Risk Management
Global Risk Institute is offering an online course in Quantitative Financial Risk Management (QFRM) in conjunction with the University of Waterloo. The course is developed by the Waterloo Research Institute in Insurance, Securities, and Quantitative Finance (WatRISQ), and will earn the student a Certificate of Completion from the University of Waterloo upon successful completion. The course will include modules covering basic mathematics, derivatives, through to advanced risk management, providing students with a comprehensive overview in the area of quantitative risk. On successful completion the student will have been exposed, in a very hands-on way, to the breadth of topics and methodologies used in financial risk management.
Who is the QFRM program geared towards?
- New hires in the financial services industry with a mathematics/quantitative degree, but not necessarily one in finance/risk.
- Professionals in the financial services industry who are looking for a refresher in, or a broadening of their quantitative skills.
