The GRI’s 2015 Annual Conference takes place on Tuesday, November 10 in downtown Toronto at the Design Exchange. This year’s conference promises a powerful series of sessions focused on the theme Risk in the Age of the Industrial Internet.
Conference delegates will be privileged to two keynote addresses from world leaders in economics and data security. To open the conference, Nobel Prize Winner Robert Engle will address delegates on the topic of current events in the global economy. Our featured lunch speaker, Glenn Greenwald is best known for breaking the Edward Snowden NSA story. Glenn will address the topic of “Disrupting Nation States” and the effect surveillance and data security can have on financial institutions and their clients and stakeholders.
Conference delegates will have the choice to explore topics such as Cyber Security, Bitcoin and Blockchain Technologies, Telematics and Transportation, and Risk in the Canadian Housing Market during our breakout sessions.
Our conference also draws on the voices of Chief Executive Officers and Chief Risk Officers to examine how financial institutions will manage the impact of disruption and known and unknown emerging risks.
