About this Report
Recognizing the need for an industry approach to responsible AI adoption in financial services, GRI and OSFI partnered to host the Financial Industry Forum on artificial intelligence. Experts from industry, government and academia identified four key areas for AI models: explainability, data, governance, and ethics. Together, these four areas are collectively referred to as the “EDGE” principles. This report explains these principles and their application in the financial services sector.
