Richard Nesbitt to Address Prospective Students at Launch of Rotman Risk Management Program

OCTOBER 8, 2015

Richard Nesbitt, President and CEO of GRI, will address prospective students at the official launch event of the Master of Financial Risk Management (MFRM) program on October 17, 2015.

The launch coincides with the Rotman School of Management Open House which takes place the same day. At the MFRM launch event, prospective students will be able to learn more about the program, attend a sample class, explore the BMO Financial Group Finance Research and Trading Lab, and meet the faculty and program recruitment staff. GRI will host an invite-only luncheon for prospective students at the event to celebrate the launch of the program.

The MFRM program is an intensive eight-month program for recent graduates with solid quantitative skills from undergraduate university programs. The program is designed to prepare students for in-demand careers in risk management and trading. GRI announced that it will support the program by way of providing student scholarships and co-curricular activities for the program. This support demonstrates our commitment to ensuring a future pipeline of talented risk management professionals.

The first classes for the MFRM program begin in September 2016. Visit the Rotman MFRM website for more details on the program and launch event.
