Employees of these organizations working in the areas of risk management have access to our research material and can enrol in our educational programs. As members, they can download featured articles, attend our seminars and participate in panel discussions; providing an opportunity to gain insight into the latest fintech innovations, regulatory matters and risk management reviews.

The GRI was founded in 2011 as a result of an idea conceived by Mark Carney, Governor of the Bank of England and Jim Flaherty, former Canadian Minister of Finance. There were sixteen founding financial institutions, with the Governments of Canada, Ontario, TD Group and Manulife acting as the core architects.
