A successful and economically viable transition to a low carbon economy is critical to Canada’s future prosperity. This report uses data from January 2018 to December 2022 to examine how stock markets in Canada and the U.S. value traditional energy companies (hereinafter referred to as energy firms), clean tech companies, and their prospects.
