Cyber Security: Combating the Threats
3 November 2015
NOVEMBER 3, 2015
Cyber security is frequently cited as the #1 challenge facing GRI’s members both now and in the future. It is an all-pervasive global concern for financial institutions. With organizations increasingly relying on technology to communicate and operate, any data leak or business interruption cause by hacking or surveillance could have catastrophic results.
To address these issues, GRI is hosting a Member Seminar on Tuesday, December 8 from 3-5pm to consider how institutions can best combat current and future cyber-security threats.
The seminar will be led by Joe LoBianco, VP of Enterprise Security at CIBC and David Florio, Partner at Grant Thornton LLP and will explore the nature of cyber-security threats, and the extent to which cyber security ought to be part of financial institutions’ wider enterprise risk management strategies.
The event is by invite only. If you would like to attend, please send an expression of interest to Maria Montes at mmontes@globalriskinstitute.org.
